Hotel Villa Bosco, located at Carrera 1 # 3-03, vía Cali–Rozo, Palmaseca, Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, is the controller responsible for the personal data you provide through this website, WhatsApp or our other contact channels. 2. Legal framework

This policy is governed by article 15 of the Colombian Constitution, Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, and Decree 1377 of 2013, which regulate every person's right to know, update and correct information collected about them (Habeas Data).

3. Data we collect

Through this site and our contact channels (WhatsApp, email, phone) we may collect your name, phone number, email address, and the content of the messages you send us — for example, to request information or arrange transport, pets or events.

This website does not process payments or manage bookings directly. When you book through our official channels — Booking.com or our online booking engine — that data is collected and processed by those platforms under their own privacy policies, independent of this one. The hotel may appear listed on other travel search engines or sites not authorized by us; we are not responsible for the data handling practices of those third parties.

4. Purpose of processing

We use your data only to respond to your inquiries and requests, coordinate additional services during your stay, and improve the service we provide. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Your rights

• Know, update and correct your personal data.
• Request proof of the authorization granted.
• Be informed about how your data has been used.
• File complaints with Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) for violations of the law.
• Revoke your authorization and/or request deletion of your data, when no legal or contractual duty prevents it.

You can exercise these rights by writing to contacto@hotelvillabosco.com, stating your request. We will respond within the terms established by law.

7. Data security

We adopt reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access.

8. Retention

Your data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, and afterward for as long as a legal obligation to retain it exists.

9. Video surveillance (CCTV)

For security reasons, the hotel has closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in common areas and around the perimeter. The footage is used solely for the safety of guests, staff and facilities; it is kept for a limited period, in line with that security purpose and applicable regulations, and is shared only with the competent authorities when required by law.

10. Children’s data

This site is not directed to minors and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Data of children and adolescents is processed only when it is public in nature or when the prior authorization of a parent or legal guardian has been obtained, always in the child’s best interest. If a guardian believes a minor has provided us data, they may write to contacto@hotelvillabosco.com to have it deleted.

11. Cookies and web analytics

This site uses cookies to remember your language preference and to understand, in an anonymous and aggregate way, how the page is used, through Google Analytics (a Google service that may process this data abroad).
